Our desire...
...is to be a Biblically functioning church
community based upon the teaching of Jesus and the experience of the early
church, so that the following core values are lived out authentically in the
life of each member.
Matthew 16:18 - And I tell you, you are
Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hell will not
prevail against it.
Matthew 28:19 & 20 - Go therefore and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have
commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Acts 2:42-49 - They devoted themselves to
the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to
prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were
done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everthing in
common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread
in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and
enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily
those who were being saved. |
